View Full Version : Want a copy of the Beatles first ever recording???

I thought I'd better tell you about a special offer that KewBank promotions are doing. It's an exact copy of the 78rpm record on the Kensington label that contains That'll Be The Day b/w In Spite Of All The Danger. It's been classed as the worlds rarest record as there's only meant to be one copy left in existance. There are (I think) only going to be 5,000 of these records made. It all comes in a frame with a narrative and a certificate of authenticity. There will also be an autograph from John Duff Lowe, which, as you should know, was in the Quarry Men in 1958. It will cost about £85, which, I think is around $140-150

Another bit of really ancient history -- please try to read the date of the last post...

Mind you, we don't mind when people bring older topics back up if the discussion is still valid, but I have my doubts about this recording still being for sale four years after the fact...

I know you're new, Loving Lennon, so it might take you some time to realize that these threads are very, very old.
