I was only 13 when I started to "fall in love" with... my Drama Teacher... :blush2:

My first proper crush was this guy that I met at a camp I went to when I was 12 with some friends from school. He was 13 and super cool. He was a male model! Even better was that he took a real liking to me and put his arm around me one night! Gasp!

We were friendly for a week as an unofficial couple (he had a "girlfriend" who was also at the camp) and we promised to keep in touch when we left. I still remember saying goodbye to him the day the camp was over - he lived in the South Island and I lived in the North.

I wrote to him (snail mail of course - this was many many years ago!) and I never heard back from him!
But I convinced myself that maybe the letter got lost in the mail because I had a friend that hadn't even met him but she wrote to him because my friends used to talk about him so much (everyone that had been on the camp had a crush on him you see and I was the only one to not admit to it!!) so she said she felt like she knew him....anyway in his letter to her that she showed me, he mentioned me heaps and said to say hello and that he missed me and all this cutesy stuff.

I thought about him for years AND i must confess that even as the happiest married person that there is, I did a search for him on facebook one day just to see if I could find him. hahahaaaa. Purely for nosey purposes of course! The stalking was fruitless so goodness knows where he is at these days.
