Are a good movie here are a little from the film:

a plots and review movie: If they missed Beatles' first appearance in the U.S.A. they would hate themselves for the rest of their lives! So they (six young girls from New Jersey) set off even though they don't have tickets for the show! The journey is full of surprises and misfortunes but the young ladies are determined to reach to their idols...

Six teenagers from Maplewood, New Jersey in various stages of Beatlemania travel to New York City for the first appearance of the Fab Four on the "Ed Sullivan Show." At the start of the film, none have tickets, but all find their way to the studio for the fantastic climax.

sorry its from TITLE : I Wanna Hold Your Hand
YEAR OF RELEASE : 1978
CLASSIFICATION : M
DIRECTOR : Robert Zemeckis
STARRING : Nancy Allen, Bob DiCicco, Marc McClure
FILM REVIEW : This unique idea for a movie sees 6 teens from New Jersey travelling to New York City to see "The Beatles" in their first appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show" in 1964. The exciting escapades of the teens are fun to watch, as they go all out to get a glimpse of their idols. Although "The Beatles" do not appear, the film's soundtrack features 17 of their greatest hits. Director Zemeckis has done a great job in re creating the feel for 1960's Beatlemania. For fans of "The Fab Four" this film is a must see.

I saw it once shortly after it was released. A cute tale about these kids trying anything and everything to get to see the Beatles. I remember one scene where one or two of the girls do make it upstairs into the Beatles' suite and hid under the bed.

Having not been around then, it's neat to see the outrageous things that were happening during Beatlemania (i.e. selling bed sheets, digging up stepped-on grass). Nice little film.

I LOVE that movie! I saw it on TV ages ago and finally got the tape for Christmas a few years ago. (The tape has a few scenes that weren't in the TV version, just FYI.)

My favorite part of the movie is when the whole bunch of Beatle fans are in the limo heading to NYC...Murray the K reads the trivia question on the radio, and Rosie knows the answer, gets hysterical, and jumps out of the car while it's still moving to call in and win the tickets to the Sullivan show (not winning them, of course). But that's my favorite line from the movie--"Rosie, what are you trying to do?! Kill yourself?!" "It would have been WORTH killing myself if I could have won!!!" Oh, us Paul gals...

That line hits home for me--Lord knows I go diving across the room for the phone when they're doing Beatle giveaways on the radio. images/icons/smile.gif

It is a cute movie, too bad The Beatles actually never make an appearance (meaning, actors that look like them). Well, their boots make an appearance when the girls are hiding under the bed.
That scene where the girl jumps out of the moving car to call in the answer on the pay phone (no cell phones, then baby. You had to work to be a fanatic!) is just way too funny.
By the way, didn't that particular actress go on to be one of the women (real women) on Bosom Buddies with Tom Hanks?

My favorite part about the movie was that bespeckled dork of a nerd (Eddie Deezen, I think) who claimed to be the world's biggest Beatles know-it-all.

So funny!, but what a bone-headed dumb-a$$!

He reminded me of.....of.....uh....um....of...

I totally forgot about her in that movie which is really odd since BTTF is one of my favorites.
