Hi. I have just put together a new Beatles web site (http://wherewasit.brinkster.net). It is trying to be a definitive database of all the Beatles related locations out there. Or at least a lot of them. Have a look and tell me what you think.

Welcome to BeatleLinks.

I have had a look at your website which on first hand seems to be a Link site too to "Beatles Places", unless I misunderstand it. I do a 'start search' and type in George Harrison and find two Links with not even Frair Park.

Then I tried "advanced search" which when I type UK and Liverpool shows no results at all.

There are a few websites about "Beatles places" which are - at least to me -more detailed and you probably have just started but since you ask, I am not really enthousiastic yet, sorry.

Thanks for the constructive comments . You are right, it is still a bit rough around the edges but i thought i would let the public have a look. i think i have fixed all the bits you mentioned (its amazing how things stop working when you are not looking) and you can at least search with "liverpool" if not "uk".

My spin on the whole Beatles Places thing is that there are a lot of good sites out there but each one only covers a bit of the story. This is going for a bit more of an overview. By linking to Wikipedia, Flickr, Google Maps and any official web site i can give the user maximum info without having to plagiarise it myself.

As for George, I'm sorry but i concentrated on John and Paul to begin with. I have about another 40 entries to add in shortly and he will be in that lot.

I'm sure you've already seen these sites, but just in case...

I Just thought I would mention that my web site has been updated. I am trying to come up with different ways of visualising the same data now. I have added a load more places and a couple of basic tours you could walk round now. I think the structure is there now, so it is just a case of finishing the data.
