Greetings, gang. New member and all that.
I'm looking for color pictures of the helicopter used at the end of AHDN. It's a Westland Whirlwind srs I with the civil code G-ANFH. I am under the suspicion that it is mostly yellow with a white crew cabin and black tail fillet (but a color photo would answer those questions). The only additional markings added to the regular BEA livery is the "TLES" on the port side giving the impression that it was actually the Fab Four's own whirlygig.
BTW, bought AHDN on DVD on the morning of the 24th at the local Media Play for $19.99. It's flawless.

Hi, Wally. I'm afraid I can't help you with the color photo, but I wanted to welcome you to Beatlelinks anyway. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/wave2.gif

Well thanks.
Been a Beatle fan since I was 3 or 4. My dad had a reel to reel version of the White Album. AHDN is one of favorite films, along with YS.
Our son Hersey is in the process of watching AHDN over and over ("no, i can't complain").
Yesterday we put his "baby bear" in the wash. When we pulled him out of the dryer Hersey said "He's very clean" with an English accent even!

Welcome to BeatleLinks, Wally! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/smile1.gif I'm a bit late, but I was just browsing the AHDN album at Kerry's Beatles/Paul McCartney Site (http://groups.msn.com/KerrysBeatlesPaulMcCartneysite/_homepage.msnw?pgmarket=en-us), and stumbled upon...this! I hope it's helpful!
