A HARD CHICAGO'S NIGHT ANNOUNCED!

Following the announcement of special events to celebrate the release of the new DVD of "A Hard Day's Night" in New York and Los Angeles - comes news that Beatles fans in Chicago - and indeed from anywhere in the US - also have a chance to attend a special screening of the film and see Victor Spinetti and John Junkin in-person.

One of Chicago's top radio stations (WXRT) is hosting a big private screening of "A Hard Day's Night" - together with Martin Lewis' new half-hour special "Things They Said Today..." - followed by an informal Q&A featuring Spinetti, Junkin and Lewis.

The event will take place on Wednesday September 25 in Chicago. (The night after Paul McCartney plays in Chicago!)

All of the tickets go to prize-winners of a ticket draw that is entered via the radio station's website. The contest is open to ANYONE - irrespective of where they live - or whether they can hear the radio station.

Obviously it's PRIMARILY intended for folks from Chicago - so the radio station isn't providing transportation or accommodation to ticket winners. But if you could get yourself to Chicago for that night - it might be worthwhile entering the ticket draw!

All the details are on the radio station's website.

Host for the evening will be top WXRT disc jockey Terri Hemmert - who hosts a daily classic rock show, a weekly Beatles radio show - and has been host of Beatlefest in Chicago for 25 years.
