I seem to be having alot of trouble underdstanding the dialouge in A Hard Days Night. Does anyone know where I can find a script of A Hard Days Night, like on ebay or something.

I don't know about a script or a screenplay, but they did publish a novelization of the movie. I got a copy at Beatlefest a few years ago. You can probably find it on eBay.

I think I found a site here on BeatleLinks under fansites that had the AHDN script in it's entirety, when I have a chance I'll see if I can find it when I have a chance

The final AHDN script: http://www.geocities.com/classicmoviescripts/script/ahdn.htm

The original AHDN script (includes deleted scenese & dialogue): http://www.geocities.com/classicmoviescripts/script/AHARDDAYSNIGHT.txt

Now...if only I could find the "HELP!" script online. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif

There was also a book back in the 70s with the complete script in it, including deleted scenes and dialogue. I think it's out of print now, but you might be able to find it on Ebay or something...it's wonderful, and the back cover reprints the NY Times review of the film, which was surprisingly very good!

I've never seen a similar thing for Help!

Hope you can find something, Sarge.

I wish!!! I don't think the "HELP!" script has ever been published, anywhere. I did see an original copy of the script on Ebay once - it came from a crew member and it was titled "Beatles Two"!! But unfortunately, it was waaaay out of my price range. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif It was worth even more than your average butcher cover! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/wink1.gif

There is a novelization of "HELP!", just like for AHDN - that's probably the closest you can get to the actual script. I got mine from Ebay. By the way, that AHDN book sounds cool! I'll have to look for that one. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/smile1.gif

85 pages is too many to print off, just for future reference.
