Hi everybody,

The tears are flowing again on my end
this evening... I hadn't seen the Anthology
video--(#5) in a long time, and when it got
to the point where "Nowhere Man" was being
performed "live", I thought to myself: "Well,
this is going to be alright but I'm sure
it'll only be a brief clip of the piece"...
I was proved wrong luckily in this case!!--
"NM" was played in its completion from start
to finish and I didn't even recall it being
such a special performance!-(IMHO). In fact,
if there was any "bootlegy-type" Beatle
performance that I'd have to recommend in
terms of picture clarity and unusual "live"
setting and uniqueness, it would have to
be this one of "NM". My question however is..
does anyone know where this performance took
place?-- I know it wasn't from Budakon for
example as some of the later songs on this
tape were. Thanks & happy Beatleing(!)

My semi-apologies folks!! I just saw the
clipping again and noticed at the top of
it that it was from Munich at the "Circus
Krone". I guess I was previously too
immersed in the tune to notice..http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/wink2.gif
Please accept my apologies if need be!!!

Thanks Tim-- I'm not exactly sure of what
MPEG files are though.. could you elaborate
a little on that?-- maybe I can eventually
set something like that up myself on my end.

Video files--you can downlaod them from file sharing utilities like WinMX.
There are always various Beatles videos to download from there, however they can take a while to do so and there are long lines for some at times.

Wow JC! Guess I need to pull out my Anthology & watch it again! I'm due anyway, but I don't even remember that!

Thanks!

Oh, sure FT-- anything to help
fellow Beatle fans I say!-http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

And the point is, similar to what you've
said, I forgot about this special clip too!--
it really brought some tears on my end as
I mentioned, because the footage of them
doing "NM" seemed to be so clear and the
harmonies sung were clear in their own way
as well... plus it was very uniquely done
IMHO as compared to other "NM" performances.
I bet Tim will agree with me on this also.

(And on top of all that, it's in Black &
White to!...)
