your favorite Beatles movie?
I've seen HELP (my only Beatles movie *cries*) 29 time in the 3 weeks I've had it. I've got the thing almost memorized.

Hmm...
Well as many of you know help is my favortie movie and I couldn't even count how many times I've seen it. Before I owned it I had seen it 2 times and then I bought it in 2000. Since then I have probably watched it somewhere near or above 200 times. I used to put it on everyday after school and that was about 180 school days. And as of late Help is locked in my DVD player so it is the only DVD to watch for the last two weeks.
I've seen AHDN about 4 times.
MMT 3 times
YS approx 5 times
And I've never seen LIB

I've seen them all a number of times, but could only stomach Let It Be once. It isn't the best film out of the five (shock horror!) but it does have the entire rooftop concert which more than makes up for it http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif

I would imagine that the adversity between all the Beatles during that time on film might not be the most pleasant watching experience.

I can't think of precise numbers, but I can pretty much recite A Hard Day's Night:
Who's that little old man?
What little old man?
That little old man
Oh, thats my grandfather
Thats not your grandfather!
It is you know
But I've seen your grandfather, he lives in your house
Thats my other one

Magical Mystery Tour
The first three, I've seen countless times - too many to comprehend. Let It Be - 3 times and MMT once.

We owned AHDN, Help!, and Let It Be when I was little, but I only saw Let It Be once or twice (I thought it was boring!) and I think I only watched AHDN & Help! about 10 times each. Then my older sister moved out and took her Beatles tapes with her, so I didn't see any of them for about 10 YEARS!
I finally bought Help! a few months ago, but I've probably seen the whole thing "only" 10-15 times since then. So most of you have seen it more than I have! Nowadays, I usually just skip right to the scene I'm looking for. I got AHDN on CD-ROM a few weeks ago, but I've only watched it twice (awful picture quality!) When the DVD comes out, I'm sure I'll watch it a few dozen more times. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/teeth1.gif
I've never seen MMT, and I've seen Yellow Sub only once, when we rented it about 15 years ago. I enjoyed it though, so I'll probably watch it again soon. I'd like to see Let It Be again too - I think I'll appreciate it more now that I'm older. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/smile1.gif

Well, I own all of the on VHS and also have Yellow Sub on DVD. I've probably seen AHDN the most number of times, as it's my fave. The best was when my cousin, sister and I (around 1977) saw a Beatles triple feature of AHDN, LIB and YS and ended up sitting thru AHDN and YS twice!) I guess I'd have to say that I've seen LIB and MMT at least 25 times each, Help and YS about 75 and AHDN over 100. I used to have AHDN memorized. I love that film!

Gee, I never thought to count, so I'll guesstimate. HDN: 35 x's (at least! it's my fave) Help: 20 x's Yellow Sub: 25 x's. That sounds about right. Yellow Sub is alot 'cuz my daughter loves it. It is a great kid movie and for those kids trapped in an adult body, like me. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif LIB: 0 MMT: 0 <--geez, that's pretty sad for an old fart like me.. i haven't seem mmt, i would REALLY LOVE to but! i've never counted how many times i've watched ahdn and help, which i have on video for eons, (quality is getting really bad now... can't wait to find them on dvd sitting on the shop shelves in sydney calling out to me "buy me, take me home!", which i would do most happily without a second thought!) i think i know most of the lines to both of them off by heart (i have a shocking short memory!) and i love both of them equally to death!!!!! when the Beatles anthology where on tv in australia, they showed the yellow submarine after it, and we recorded it and watched that countless times too...then as soon as it was available on dvd in aust. we bought it and watched that countless times too!!!
must find mmt, lib, and any other Beatle realated viewables!!!!!!!! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/teeth3.gif

Lessee...I've been a Beatles fan for 28 years, seen AHDN an AVERAGE of 2-3 times per year...I guess I've probably seen it about 75-80 times, maybe more. Ditto Help and YS. The others I've probably seen less...I think I've seen Magical Mystery Tour maybe four or five times and LIB the same.

I grew up having the tapes of "Help!, "A Hard Day's Night," and "Yellow Submarine"... so I've seen those three waaaaay too many times to count. We actually had "Help!" recorded onto a tape, and one day it was recorded over, so one year, my brother and I found it under our Christmas tree. It's a good thing, too, because we had been going through withdrawal. We wore out the "Yellow Submarine" and "A Hard Day's Night" tapes.
On the other hand, I've seen "Magical Mystery Tour" about 5 times and "Let It Be" once. They're just not as fun or as good as the other three. Whoops, did I say that? http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/rolleyes.gif

Well, the first time I ever rented AHDN was maybe a year and a half ago from the library, i had it for 2 or 3 days and watched it about 10 times... I practically memorized the thing! This was when i was just beginning to like the Beatles and that movie really got me hooked! I remember i got bored in school once and wrote out the entire opening scene on the train... as for the other movies, i've seen Help! a bunch of times, Yellow Sub maybe 5, and MMT i think twice. I like that one, though. I'll have to get it again. Never seen LiB, but im DYING to!

These are pretty much totally wild guesses, but I'd say....
AHDN - 25-30 times (my favorite)
Help - 20-25 times (close 2nd)
Yellow Submarine - maybe 7 or 8 times (can you tell I don't have kids? http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif)
MMT - probably 20 times (we used to watch it at Beatlefest every year and do audience participation, a la Rocky Horror, so that adds to the total there)
Let It Be - probably 15 times or so - twice this year alone since I finally got me a good copy! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif

Too much to count I think, becuse I've
been such a long time Beatle's fan, but
I'd say rounding some of the films off...
1. AHDN: Around 50 times
2. HELP: Around 70 times--(this is my fav.
equal to...)..
3. MMT: Around 70 times
4. LIB: Around 40 times
(Maybe I'll try to shoot for around 100?-http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

Amazingly enough, I saw Yellow Submarine for the first time ever just this past Thanksgiving. The reason it's so amazing is because I've been a fan for 20 years!
As for all the other films, I owned copies of them. I think it's safe to say I've seen A Hard Day's Night and Help! between 200 to 300 times (no, I am not kidding). I really couldn't count how many times I've viewed Magical Mystery Tour and Let It Be, but I can say for sure that I've only seen Yellow Submarine once!

I own a VHS tape of AHDN, so I lost track of hoe many times I've seen it!
I've seen Help! seven times (rented the tape), Yellow Submarine about three times. MMT only once, not regrettin' it. Never saw Let it Be, willing to.
Does the Anthology tapes count? I've taped it from the TV when they were shown in Brazil, and I won the two first "official" videos from my parents at Christmas.

ive lost count of how many times ive seen Help and AHDN, but i really enjoy MMT on an artsy level, and of course the rooftop concert is priceless! and who could forget What Button? from Yellow sub!! best part of each movie:
Help: Paul in the gum wrapper(the tracking on that part of my tape is awful, from rewinding it and slowing it down hehe)
A Hard Day's Night: Who's that little old man?
Magical Mystery Tour: Your Mother Should Know
Yellow Sub: All You Need is Love at the end
Let It BE: Why Dont WE Put it on the Toast!!!

I just bought A Hard Day's Night about 2 weeks ago...and I've already watched it 5 times....those boys are too too funny...and Paul is just too too sexy graemlins/inlove1.gif *

A Hard Days Night - a dozen times
Help - twenty times
Magical Mystery Tour - four times
Yellow Submarine - lots of times (my three year old twin boys love the movie)
Let It Be - twice (hard to watch the animosity and they look so greasy as if the water department had gone on strike or something.)
Give My Regards to Broadstreet - not a Beatles movie, but still has some good musical moments from a former Beatle
