1) A Hard Day's Night(George's Solo Scene)
2) Help(George was beautiful in that movie)
3)Yellow Submarine
Didn't care too much for Magical Mystery Tour( George barely had a line)
I never saw Let It Be(I would rather see their happy beginnings rather than see their miserable ending)

1) Hard Days Night (but only b/c of Geo's scene) http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/inlove7.gif
2) Help (I'm watching it as we speak, too funny for words) http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/help.gif
3) First US visit (omg, the scene w/ George and Ringo on the train!) George in waiters uniform: "Yer makin a film here! All in the way!" Then there's Geo's sexy dance in the hotel room http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/dance.gif
4) Let It Be aaaah, I would put it higher, but Paul's beard annoys me. Oh yeah, and then theres all the bad vibes. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/chainsaw.gif
5) Magical Mystery Tour: It has AMAZING song clips, but I think I might have to take certain substances to understand the rest of it. (on the doooonnnsbury road. and they're having a lovely time) http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/smoking1.gif

You know, you'd THINK that would be true...but no. I just watched Let It Be (thanks to the lovely Lynner http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif ) again for the first time since grade 8. Paul needs to be slapped and slapped HARD in that movie. I hate that part where he talks down to George, ugh. And the camera is on Paul 2/3 of the movie! Why? WHY??
The only redeeming qualities are George's hilarious facial expressions and the rooftop concert, which I LOVE. That movie is worth owning because of the rooftop concert. Well, and because it's a Beatles movie. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif

AHDN will always hold a special place in my heart because I saw it when I was 11 and the Beatles were brand-new, and we finally really got to SEE them, larger than life, doing other things besides just standing on stage and singing. As lovely as that was, there was something so exciting about seeing them run, play, and interact with one another in such fun ways.
It was like magic when we saw that movie...it made the Beatles come to life for us.

You've got to see those movies. "Yellow Submarine" was great when it came out and even better when rereleased a couple of years ago. "Let It Be" shows the Beatles as themselves and what it was like in the studio.

Actually the fellas are in Yellow Submarine, but at the very very end, the part right after the song "Its All Too Much".
Although I love AHDN and Help! equally, since AHDN is the only one of two I have a copy of, its starting to be the one I like the most.
MMT is ok, but its weird in a lot of places.
I don't know if I seriously wanna see Let It Be, 'cause you know its gonna be sad.

i have to agree with the majority, ahdn is their best movie and it made me wanna be nothing but a musician. i saw it aged 11 when it was on german television 1975...dubbed for sure. they gave paul a strange high and funny voice. graemlins/images/icons/rolleyes.gif *
i'm so glad they didn't try to translate ringo's "mocker"...
help was broadcasted a year or so later and i remember loving every minute of it so much that i hated the fact that it had to end sometimes! i loved the scenes in their house especially.
yellow submarine was dissapointing because they did not appear in it. just like iwannatellyou said. and i was only 12. way too far out for me.
sadly, you can't call mmt and lib good movies. those are experiments...interesting but unpleasing.

My order for their 5 Movies is like this:
1) Help! graemlins/help.gif (Cool movie, in color)
2) AHDN graemlins/dance.gif
3) MMT graemlins/wave2.gif
4) Yellow Submarine graemlins/afraid1.gif
5) Let It Be graemlins/argue.gif
In MMT, I disagree that George didn't have any lines or actions in it... what about his part in "Blue Jay Way"? He did a great clip of himself, so Psychedelic! And them wearing white tuxedos (George and his long hair...) and the Wizards?
Bonzo: "What is going to be in their Agenda?"
Wizard George: "A SONG!"
I didn't see "Let It be" yet, but I don't like it for sure! Paul and George arguing... what is fun to watching it? graemlins/chainsaw.gif graemlins/barf1.gif

I love all The Beatles' films! And I'd probably have MMT and YS reversed if it was their actual voices', but even though it's a great movie and I love it, I can't really get over the fact that their not, so I put MMT first since the lads are actually in it. images/icons/smile.gif

I had to rate the top 2 the way I did because I think Help wins by default because it is in color, I saw both when the Beatles were brand new and it was awesome to see them in color, we all had b&w TV's then too.. I still quote lines from Help when certain things happen.. I think both Help and HDN are hilarious, but Help just cracks me up, the guys were a little more seasoned too..
I roll when I find myself swatting at a fly or something and calling it a feindish thingy, George
does that line, for all the George lovers...
I love Let It Be, there is still lots of love there, and we who lived thru it, knew this could be the last time we saw the darlings together, with the net today, there are endless things to see on the Guys, but I am 51, it ended with Let It Be, The Fab came back with the net, although they never left my heart, they started the change
to this modern and sophisticated world we have become today..
Guess I could go on and on about how wonderful these four guys are to me, they will always hold a very special place in my heart...
