My parents bought me this for christmas, it was pretty good. I'd definitely rent it before buying it though, because it is rather odd in parts.

This has been a fav of mine for a long time
now!! I highly recommend it if you're a
serious Beatle fan... and of course Ringo
is "the" Beatle in this film as the others
weren't in it. But Keith Moon is also
actually in it and some other actors were
really good in it to I feel. The plot, the
humor and the settings in this film all
get at least a B+ from me!

I recently bought this film. Wow talk about an odd film. But our curiousity was peaked and my husband is a huge Raquel fan so we got it. I was almost a little embarrased to watch it with my thirteen yr. old tho. Some strange stuff came out in the 60's/70's huh. That 'pool' scene was absolutely disgusting. Even more so than the spaghetti scene in Magical Mystery Tour.

I saw this movie many times on television. The funny part is the the "pool" scene had always been cutout of the showing! It's a bizarre film, but I like it. The soundtrack is great. Ringo looks good and the overall concept of people doing just about anything for money is certainly true. Wonder if the people running some of these reality based shows today had this movie in mind?

It's also a favorite of mine, in a "cult movie" kind of way. Quite bizzare, but I love all the cameos in the film (Christopher Lee, John Cleese, and Yul Brynner!!).
It's currently available on DVD.

Can't say I've seen the film, but I'd sure like to...

I've got more pictures online of him wearing the same badge on different occasions but they're all even smaller. :-( Shall try and remember to add a section on him promoting the film on my site.

I have very fond memories of seeing this in the theater, at a revival house in New York. I was hating every minute of Catholic school then, and the messages in this film about turning against the System and making it devour itself and smile as it vomited it all back up struck a deep chord in me. It was and still is an incredibly subversive film; it's message of trying to throw a spanner into every set of works was so potent, that when the projectionist at the Thalia accidentally tried to run the wrong reel, it took the audience a few minutes to realize that he'd made a mistake, and that starting a new film right in the middle of the current one wasn't part of the show...

Ringo is absolutely adorable here! Okay, I always say that, but it's true. He looks his best, with that hair and that 'stache and those sideburns and...
Anyway. Great movie! We even got a Python in it! I have it on DVD, it's really odd, but it's pretty good too.
Basically, it's about a rich guy who has a lot of fun with his money. And it shows that people will do anything for money (the thing at the end? I would definately not do that XDD)
