I recently heard that Freddie has passed away. When?

He died on May 19, 2006 from emphysema & circulation problems. He was 69.

Sad...I liked Freddie & the Dreamers. My favorite was "I'm Telling You Now," from the tail end of the Ford Falcon era.

Very Beatley, actually. the style of song that the Beatles invented and became classic.
and Do the Freddie, a song about a silly dance so far beyond novelty that it was entertaining........
