I am sure I did "Plastic Ono Band" and "Imagine" in the past, tho I can't find the threads, but I want to move forwards and discuss "Mind Games" which I always thought was underated. Yes I'll skip "Sometime in New York City".

So which side do you like better?

Side one
Mind Games
Tight A$
Aisumasen (I'm Sorry)
One Day (At A Time)
Bring On The lucie (Freda People)
Nutopian International Anthem

And turn over for Side B.

Intuition
Out the Blue
Only People
I Know (I Know)
You Are Here
Meat City

I like the album as a whole too but side B weights more on my plate. I especially love I Know (I Know).

Ditto to all!

The whole album is great imo, but Intuition, Out the Blue and I Know made me vote for Side B.

It's difficult because I find "Only People" to be the most embarassing song on the album, but the rest of the songs on Side B are great, especially my favorite "Meat City".

Side A has "Mind Games", "Tight A$" and "Bring on the Lucie"...

So Side A wins.

for me, side b. "Out the blue", "Only People", "I Know (I Know)" and You Are Here are very good songs (they aren't `great`...). Together theybeat the one and only goood song from side A, Mind Games.

Each song on side B has my preference so that's the side

I haven't heard the entire album yet, but I simply love what I HAVE heard. I don't understand why this album is so underated, its great!

Aisumasen is so gorgeous; its so heartfelt (well...since when are John's love songs anything but?) The guitar solo is wonderful! Out of the blue is also great, it starts off with great finger picking making you expect a classic Lennon ballad, then it launches into a great little rocker! Bring on the Lucie is really catchy and its crazily up beat for a song with a political message...

Personally, I like the whole album, so I gave my vote for that option. It is more difficult because side one has "Mind Games" and side 2 has "You Are Here", and both are some of my favorite John's songs :afraid2:

Side B for me. I Know (I Know) is great, as is "Out The Blue". Plus I do like the effect of the song ordering, specifically going from the dreamy "You Are Here" to ramping it up for a big finish with "Meat City".

I put the whole album because I love side 1 but side 2 has some great stuff on it too. I like the song Meat City a lot, for example.
