Julian Lennon, elder son of late
singing star John Lennon, accused his
father of hypocrisy in an interview
published in the Daily Telegraph.
"From my point of view, I felt he was
a hypocrite," Lennon said of his
father, the former Beatle assassinated
in 1980.
"Dad could talk of peace and love out
loud to the world but he could never
show it to the people who supposedly
meant the most to him: his wife and
son."
John Lennon abandoned his wife Cynthia
and son Julian, then aged five, for
artist Yoko Ono, with whom he had
another son, Sean.
"How can you talk about peace and love
and have a family in bits and pieces -
no communication, adultery, divorce?"
Julian, himself a singer, said. You
can't do it, not if you're being true
and honest with yourself."
Julian has recently inherited part of
his father's fortune, but the
telegraph said Sean had got the bulk
of it, estimated 370 million dollars.

From when is this interview. I've read Julian saying that some years ago, so I really wonder if it's new. If it's new I think Julian should get over it, if not then personaly I see no need to comment on it again.

I checked this via Google and these "quotes" from Julian date back to May 1998 in the Daily Telegraph and possibly even further back to even before John's death.

I do not think we want this as Breaking News?
