On Eric Idle's website, he mentions that he worked on a second Rutles movie, Can't Buy Me Lunch. Do you think it'll come out? Do you want to see it?
I hope it does, but I'm not really sure.

It's an excellent film. I got the DVD. Even if you haven't seen it before, get it, I'm sure you'll like it.

I have a VHS copy of The Rutles and it's a scream. I would really like to see another Rutles movie come out.

All You Need Is Cash is an absolute must have. A very good movie with a cameo appearance by George.

Eric mentions it on the DVD release of All You Need is Cash and has brought it up in several interviews so far. He's found unused footage from the original film and out-takes and intends to splice this together with new interviews with celebrities such as Steve Martin, Gary Shandling, Jewel, Salmin Rushdie, and with music from the 1996 Rutles album Archaeology and who knows what else'll be included. Hopefully, Neil Innes'll record new/old music as well. Innes, Idle, Fataar, and Gary Weiss all got together last April for a screening of All You Need is Cash so that seems like a good sign. The project (I think it'll be for television like the first one) is tentatively titled Evolution.

This is the movie Eric showed to George a couple of weeks before he passed away isn't it? Apparently he loved it http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/thumbsup2.gif
