I was looking for a monologue to audition with and I stumbled across a monlogue from a play called "The day they shot John Lennon" by James McLure. I was wondering if anyone had heard of this or seen it because
I've never heard of it.

It's new to me, as well. Anything remotely relating to that dreadful night, I don't even want to look at.

I read more about it and according to a review I found it's a one act play about nine people outside the Dakota after the fact talking about what John Lennon meant to them. They're all from different walks and ways of life, I'm guessing that the playwright meant to write this to show what a profound effect John had on everyone, not to retell his death.
