I bought this vhs video about 12 years ago in this unusual record shop and it is called The mystery trip it is the home movies of Mal Evans and Paul McCartney and it has the footage on the film set of the beatles The Magical Mystery tour film and also a lot of footage of paul McCartney on holiday in Kenya and in the USA in 1966.
The vhs film is 50 minutes long in colour but has no sound(silent film), i was so pleased to get it as a beatle fan, but does anyone know anything about this and is it rare as i have never seen it since.
Any info on this would be great.
Thanks Furzy...

There is a reference to this Mal Evans private tape in the topic about Beatles Videos. This site which sells videos jas it with a certain description and I believe someone made a remark about it.
Maybe our 'Mal Evans' knows.
For UK members; any relation to Barry Evans?

I've seen a picture from the MMT filming of Paul holding a movie camera. I'm guessing it's that actual film. Wasn't some of it included in the Anthology series?
