Help question

Watched help for the umteenth time last night and noticedthat durring the "Your going to lose that Girl" sequence that it seems as though John is actually singing over top of the sound track. I realize that it could just be his double tracked voice, but it sounds to me like it's not. It is especially noticable on the last verse just before the first chorus comes in. Anybody know more?
