I think so...I called my friend who works for BMG here in NYC and she didn't know about it, but as she doesn't work in the Video department that is possible...she was going to check for me.

I'll let you know what I find out, if anything...

Just got a call from my friend at BMG...it won't be out in the US until Mid-December, it was released in Europe today.

It was made without the cooperation of the Beatles, so they were not licensed to use their music, nor their images -- so there's sort of "imitation" Beatles music on it, and no footage of them. She told me it got lousy reviews in Europe, and that it's, in her words, "really, really lame." I told her to get me one anyway, since I don't have to pay for it, but I suggest doing a lot of research on this before you shell out the money...

That's the word from here...

Sounds like a bust. Especially for anyone who knows anything about the Beatles.

Speaking of DVDs, has there been any new news regarding the release of "A Hard Day's Night" DVD?

I'm nabbin', my friend said she'd send me one if I really wanted it, and I figured since it was free...

However...the bad news is that I don't have a DVD player yet. So, unless I get one soon or find a friend to let me look at it when I get it, it'll be a while before the report...sigh...

Of course, if anyone HERE wants to get me a DVD player...well... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/wink1.gif

Hmmmmm....... Makes me wonder if Apple is waiting for "the right moment" to put it out. I'd say that "the right moment" would be now, since none of us are getting any younger!!!
