Okay, you guys, ever thought about this?

What if Hollywood ever got up enough nerve to actually attempt to make a movie about the beatles. (i'm not talkin' Backbeat, I mean actually about the boys and beatlemania, etc.,) IF they ever did (which I doubt because there would be people like you and me CRITICIZING every last frame of ithttp://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif who do you think would be a good choice to cast in those all important 4 lead roles???? My friends and I were talking about this a while back, and it was *VERY* difficult to come up with anyone worthy. . . hmmmm. . . .

There was an American film done in the
80's called I Wanna Hold Your Hand.
It's about of group of teenagers who
try and get into their hotel, and
onto the ed suliven show, which they
do in the end. The people who played
the Beatles in it were awful, no
disrespect to American actors or anything
but They could not do the Liverpudlian
accent!!! But Im sure that some American
actors can do it really well.
It would be cool if they did do a film!!!

Hey Lizzy you should check out a topic that we had a little while back similar to this - I can't remember the name of it right now but I do remember that some people came up with some really good choices. Obviously not as good as the originals of course!!

Actually, Beatle Chick, that movie was from the late 70s -- I remember seeing it in the theatre when I was in high school. From what I remember about it (I have it on video too, but haven't watched it in a while), the actors playing the Beatles were never actually seen other than from the back or as feet or hands or other body parts...and they weren't heard much either. The Liverpool accents (or lack thereof, as the case may be) probably weren't the point!

As far as actors who could play the Beatles successfully, I'd have to think about that one!!
