There is so much footage of so many weird people, it is hard to call any of them to mind!

I was reading the topic about the Shea Stadium film and the weird drunken screaming guy, and it put me in mind of other weird people in various Beatles film clips...anyone remember the girl outside the Plaza with the HUGE painting of Paul?

She makes me laugh every time, with her thick "Lawn Guyland" accent...they ask her about the painting and she says, "It's a paintin' of Pawl McCawtney, growin' outta da ground, like a sprowt of a noo generashun, an' I wanna give it toim, and showim that I c'n treatim lika hooman bein'..." TOO FUNNY...I sometimes wonder what happened to that chick...

Anyone know of any other weird fans or other strange people in Beatles film footage?

Well, that particular chick is probably about in her early 50s...she might even be somebody's grandmother by now! Yowch!

Ooh, and I thought of another girl in some footage, possibly the same footage as the girl with the painting...she's got this huge beehive hairdo and also has a thick "Noo Yawk" accent, and she's gesturing towards the person who's interviewing her, saying, "They're GAWJUS! Hehe. I remember those fans. The girl with the Paul painting is in a video called "The Compleat Beatles" (it's got a red cover) and the other 2 girls-the one who said "They're Gawjus!"-is in one called "Beatles Firsts" (white cover) Hope that helps. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif
