In response to the original question, yes. I believe they had very little to do with the thing.

completed, they had nothing to dow ith it until they suddenly decided to make that little clip at the end.
Otherwise,do you think they'd have let other actor be used for their voices?

You guys have got to get beyond what the media tells you. A very famous person once said; "He who controls the media controls the mind." John and Paul new it and they used it. Think about it for a while.
I personally as an artist would not let someone else interpret my art in any other way unless I guided them towards what I wanted said or expressed. It just makes sense for any artist. Come on . Argue with me. I love you to.

Well, John did come up with the basic idea for it, the submarine following Ringo down the street. The Beatles Anthology book says they had little to do with it, and I believe that.

In the anthology book John is quoted as saying that they while they weren't that actively involved in the movie, he did throw lots of ideas at the writers, like the vacumn monster where Ringo was ejected out of the sub.

They didn't like the idea at the beginning, but they finally got into it, and liked it, and later on they recorded the final clip. But they didn't have anything to do with the script and things like that...

hey, what a minute!
Lee Oswald was the voice of the Blue Meanies, and Jack Ruby was the Nowhere Man
http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/afraid4.gif I think the movie was backed with mob money, and Casto's influence.
I say the Warren Commission blew this one too

Did the Beatles have a lot to do with the? Probably not. Do I care? Not really... it's a cute cartoon with fantastic songs, and if you can have a good time watching, then all the better for you. I know my niece and nephew would enjot it whether the Beatles were in it or not.http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/clown1.gif
