View Full Version : Warning for Morpheus users

The Revolution video on there is altered! They put the released version onto it as an overdub.
I wanted the real 1968 version of the video with the bom-shooby-doo-wahs and other extra backing vocals.
Also,Strawberry Fields Forever for some reason is in B&W when the original was in colour.
Like I said, mebbe I'm picky but I do the correct versions of the videos.

That's why I dumped Morpheus. When I first tried them out, I d/l "Hey Bulldog" and only got the intro and two lines from the song. That turned me off, not to mention it played havoc with some of my other programs.

I'm lucky I didn't have that problem. At least I've been able to get Penny Lane and Hello Goodbye.
Think I'll dump Morpheus after the few dls i've got going on now.

I think it depends on the user. It's not Morpheus itself. I have found some great stuff on there http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

It is very interesting for us Beatles fans, because it has so much.

Complete albums can be downloaded, all of the Beatles albums.

There are many many demo's and rare B sides etc.

But, it is rather slow and only downloads if the member is online, and after the 11th it is very quiet, which I can understand.

Still, I found stuff that I did not trace yet on Napster, Audiogalaxy, KaZaa or others.

Very interesting. So it's similar to Napster in that we have to register an account or something? (where can we do this?)

To register etc. is easy.

Go to http://www.winmx.com/

It has no strings attached and it takes a few minutes to arrange being ready to start.

Assaid, it is not as fast as e.g. Audiogalaxy, but the library is huge.

Jeez Bearkat, I mean like rare/unreleased songs, or songs that they did live that are exceptional. Or demos' not the stuff on albums, I've got all that.

Technically, those songs would b elisted under "H" and "D", respectively.

I know, I was just pulling your leg there. Most of their material has been released publicly. Some bootlegs would be your best bet for alternate versions.
