Didn't he also do the Money Store commercials? "Hi, this is Phil Rizzuto from the Money Store..."

He was MVP in 1950, and played on championship world series teams with the likes of Joe Dimaggio to Mickey Mantle 1941 to 1956.
He was best known as a Yankee announcer for 40 years with charming candor, and he had stories about some great players.
He would wish birthday greetings, and talk about leaving the game early so he could beat the traffic over the George Washington Bridge into New Jersey, where he lived.
