The films made about The Beatles all seem to be low budget things with lesser known actors - If a BIG budget movie was made, who would you choose to play each Fab - Start with John - I'd go for Ewan McGregor.

Jude Law. He could play any of them I'm sure. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/inlove1.gif http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/inlove2.gif

I've heard rumours that Jude's gonna play Brian Epstein in something.
Fans of the British Show, The Royle Family will know that 'our Anthony' plays George in a London stage show - he looks great.
Maybe you could play someone Nowhere Man??

There was a topic started a month or two ago on which actors today would be best suited to play the Beatles... you can find that one here:

And also, one about Jude Law set to play Epstein in an upcoming film, which can be followed to here:

You really think I could play someone?
Maybe the fool. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/joker.gif

With today's cinematography and special effects, a spectacular movie could be made. Almost like a remake of A Hard Day's Night (almost), but with a history leading up to that. Imagine the sound effects and cinematography of showing them on stage during Beatlemania... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/rocknroll.gif

I hope to God that Hollywood never makes a big-budget film about the Beatles. Ugh, I can't even imagine how bad they'd screw up the facts!

Paul, George and Ringo would have to be advisers and have cameo roles as other characters.

Oh, for sure. But she'd have to die in the film.

I agree with you! They'd screw it up alright and it would be too slick and "Hollywood".

Yeah I agree - Ewan as John all the way!
I can't remember his name right now but that guy who played the main guitarist in the band in Almost Famous reminded me heaps of George so maybe he would do a good job there.
Paul - well I can't really think of anyone. The same goes for Ringo.
My brother who lives in England told me that he saw a movie on Sky TV called Day-dream Believer all about the Monkees and the guys they had playing them looked JUST like the Monkees did...if they can find look-alikes for everyone else they make these bio-films on, why is it that they only ever manage to find poxy hicks with NO IDEA to play The Beatles??

For the folks who saw the January 3, 2001 movie about the early days of the Beatles which closed with their February 7, 1964 visit to the US, what did you all think of it? I missed it because I was at a party and I forgot to tape it!

Then we will remember things we said today. Yeah.
