There's a scene in "Help!" (1965) where the lads dress up in costume before heading to the Bahamas...

Is it just me or did they pick out costumes that look alot like the 1969 Beatles? Like off the "Hey Jude" album cover?

John's in a beard and granny glasses.

George's hair parts in the middle and he's got a moustache.

Ringo sports a beard and longer hair.

Only Paul looks out of place with his "Press" hat, broomhandle moustache and glasses.

I really find it strange!

I always think the same thing when I see that scene. Quite uncanny, considering how they looked just four years after the movie.

I won "Help!" off ebay over a month ago and was really looking forward to see it, but the guy who's selling it still won't reply to any of my e-mails. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif

I've taken further action though and am waiting on a reply from ebay.

I do believe Help! is funnier than AHDN. But that's just my opinion.

Yeah, you'll LOVE "Help!" AHDN was and remains MY favorite Beatles movie. I think AHDN was MUCH funnier. Trust me, once you watch "Help!" you will be hooked. Before long, you will know the lines by heart.
