I must say that one of my favorite parts of help is when george saves ringo from the scientist dudes, and he's hanging on the back of the car and stuff. and then he opens the trunk and there's ringo (notice the picture below) and ringo just says "hello" in that ringo sort of way. i just love it.

yeah, i love that part...ringo is so cool! He just has that ringo thing about him. also, I love the part in help when george turns into the brave, buff guy, and when faced with all of those guard ppl outside the warehouse he grabs onto a beam, and starts kicking them all. he knocks them all out cold. It's like he turned into the kung-fu master all of a sudden.

I love the scene in Help where they're searching for Ringo, and they are all yelling his name. I especially love George's 'Ringo' while pounding his chest like Tarzan.

I don't know if this is my FAVORITE, but my daughter wants me to mention Yellow Submarine....
I like when they suck up a monster into the sub and they say, "Hey...he's wrong, he doesn't look a'tall well."
It just cracks me up for some reason.

Favorite musical moment: John & Paul doing "Two of Us" fast, on one mic, near the beginning of "Let it Be".

Favorite "acting" (ha!) moment: George and the shirts in "AHDN" (which I'm going to see on the big screen tonight!!) http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

I agree with Strawberry Fields. That one word line is the most classic scene in the whole movie.

This week, the Beatles' greatest hits album, "1", is at number six on the USA album charts.

My favourite movie scene is from "A Hard Day's Night", and it's written in HeyBeatle's signature...

Of course, the press conference was a funny way to get a piss out of all the journalists and real press conferences that The Beatles faced in those years.

"Q: Are you a mod or a rocker
A: No, I'm a mocker"

"Q: Do you see your father often?
A: No, we're really just friends", etc.

Excuse me if those weren't the exact quotes, but the movie only came here in a dubbed version, which is obviously bad. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif

Another favorite scene of that movie is that lady that says to John: "are you really him?, no! you can't be!", etc...

I love the scene where they take off down the fire escape and go out onto the field to just play silly buggers. It really shows how much they were enjoying themselves at that time and how much they loved being themselves as well as being 'the Beatles'. Really great to see, those were the days. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

Beside the slagging off scene in AHDN (This Boy), I also loved The Very Famous Palace scene in Help!

Many favorites, but really like the "And I Love Her" scene in AHDN. Love the silhouette of Paul! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

in let it be, when george tells paul, "I'll play anything that will please you... or just not play at all."
it really sets the tone for the movie and their frazzled lives together.

and in the end...

Over the past 5 days I've watched help 4 times, I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!! I also love the "famous palace scene". But another part I like is where the beatles first go to Scotland Yard for help, and the swami calls up and asks for Ringo. John says "Hey it's them, cause only me and Paul know we're here" then George replys with "I know we're here." I just love the way he says it!!!!

My favorite scenes:
AHDN - The field and the police chase. The guy trying to steal that car is always worth a laugh.
Help! - Paul shrinking, "The Plan" and the inspection of PCs in the Bahamas.
MMT - The dream sequence and when they do "I Am The Walrus".
Yellow Sub - Practically everything! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif
Let It Be - When they do "Let It Be" (my fave) and of course, the rooftop performance.

Definitely, the scene in AHDN with John and the woman on the stairs -- just the complete deadpan brilliance of it, the way she recognizes him and he tries to talk her out of it, and especially when she puts her glasses on, takes a good look at him and says, "you don't look like him at all," to which he responds once she's out of earshot, "She looks more like him than I do!" Love it, love it, love it!! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/rainbow1.gif

Oh boy it's good to be back it's been so long. Anyway, another scene...well...line I love is the one that Grandpa McCartney says the "a train and a room and a car and a room and a room and a room" or how ever it goes.

I also agree with Strawberry Fields that famous palace scene is great I sometimes have to watch it more that once at a time I just love it. Also I love John's remarks in the Indian resturant about "There's somebody been in me soup"

Ooooo, I just thought of another one. In MMT I love the scene "Five little Dickie birds" with the little girl and John, it's so adorable.

I also love John's mannerisms when they go to the strip club for some reason they always struck me as funny he acts like a dirty old man.

Lynner...I knew you were going to say that! I still remember the shot you got of Paulie on film whilst we sat together at a Fest years ago! Nicely done!!!

Gads! There are so many & so many have already been listed...

"Hot foot passing this way..." "May I ask how you know?" "Don't encourage him. You've got the part Paul!" Whistle for the bike, Paul!
