Has anyone else noticed in the film Help where, in the jewellers, George wanders around in the background and steals a few trinkets?
Naughty George!

People always said John was the bad boy, maybe they were wrong.

I noticed that the second time i watched it!!! he's just putting all these things in his pockets.
it is hilarious!!!!
and another funny part in that scene is when john has the minocular in his mouth and he is looking at a necklace!
most of the time i try and focus on the little background things like that when i am watching it.

Yeah, you really gotta pay attention to George cuz he's always doing something wacky in the background. I like in Help!, when Paul's singing "Another Girl" and he's holding that girl like a bass, but he accidentally brushes her boob with his hand. The expression on his face when he does that is priceless! I rewind it five times every time I watch it because it makes me laugh so hard.

How do you know it was an accident?

The expression on Paul's face tells you it was an accident.

It is rather funny, but sad to say, it was not in the original release of the movie.

If you have the video, you can see part of it after the movie. The added material is footage and stills from the movie with the songs playing in the background.
Had George's scene been in the movie, it would be during the "Plan". That's when John, Paul and George wear Ringo masks to help capture the bad guys.

Plus the deleted scennes (that and the acting school) are in the paperback novelization of Help!,which I had forgotten when I had read it recently.

Maybe his expression was an accident too.

I was trying to be funny with the question "How do you know it was an accident?"
Hey, anyway, did anyone notice in the beginning of Help when they are in their house with the grass carpet that the song Paul is playing on the organ has a riff that ended up in "Being For The Benefit Of Mister Kite?"
Pretty interesting considering the time line here.

Might not be subconscious. They could have had these riffs or song parts for years before they are incorporated in a song.

This is a little off the beaten subject, but that reminded me jtal: watch the First American Visit video. Close to the middle, John is playing some weird keyed kazoo or whatever, and sits and plays the opening notes to Lucy in the Sky 2 or 3 times! Subconsious, I guess.
