the Cure.
A friend of mine told me that he thought he remembered John mentioning the Cure in one of the last interviews he did. I know he talked about the B-52's, but have never run across a reference to the Cure. Their first album was released in 1979, though, so I guess it's possible he may have heard them at some point. Does anyone here know what my friend is talking about, or can you point me in the right direction to research it on my own?
