I just wanted to do a little shameless self promotion...the band I'm in, the Cavern Kittens, is playing on Friday, July 27th at C. J. Arthur's in Wilmette. It's a restaurant/bar and it's all ages, so you can bring the kids if you want. We start around 8:30. There's no cover charge, but feel free to eat and drink a lot (ha ha, guess how we get paid?) if you want to. We play all sorts of early rock covers, lots of Beatles, some Elvis, Little Richard, chick singers, it's a mixed bag, but all fun stuff. Just FYI, our rhythm guitarist quit a few days ago to do her own thing, but we'll still be playin' this gig as a three-piece. GULP!!! Hopefully we'll find somebody new before our next show in September. :smile1:
