Mine are:
George in Blue Jay Way plying the keyboard that had been drawn onto the floor with chalk! What was he on???
The musical scenes.
you know the scene for I Am The Walrus, when the glider flies above the policemen? Did you know that he flew just feet above their heads?

Favourite part is the 'Your Mother Should Know' scene. They look like they had choreographed it and were trying to remember their moves. They all look very stiff!! Ooh er!! but very funny!!

My favorite is the cheesey Your Mother Should Know routine. Hmmm..d'ya think they were stoned on their arses during that? lol!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif I have many other favorites like I Am The Walrus (one of my favorite songs, anyway) and the cute scene with John & Little Nicola, The "Flying" scene (love the graphics on that!) and of course, the wizards (SO CUTE!!). I LOVE this so called "crappy" film! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That movie is worth seeing just because of the videos to "I Am The Walrus"; "Your Mother Should Know" and (most of all) "Blue Jay Way". Those are actually the only things that stand out after watching it about... three times?

I quote Paul for this one:
I defend it on the lines that nowhere else do you see a performance of 'I am the Walrus.' That's the only performance ever. So things like that, I think, are enough to make it an interesting film.
I don't know, I still like the whole film. Not a film to watch with all the family during dinner, but it has it's charm /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
My fave scenes:
1. The first magicians scene
2. I Am The Walrus video
3. Fool On The Hill video

In the film "Magical Mystery Tour" I find the scene of Macca on the coach staring out of the window as the song is playing very moving.I first heard this song on the radio back in "67, I"d missed the beginning (as we had been playing out in the yard..ha ha) and instantly knew it was The Beatles and guessed that they had a new record out, I asked my friend if he could get his older brother to buy it!! (we use to play his brothers Beatles records when he was out) sure enough a few days later there it was!! oooo..."Roll up...roll up for the magi.." http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

And the Wizards? They were cute too? A close up of George, saying "A song!", I always laugh... when I put the DVD in slow motion in that scene, it makes me giggle to see George making funny faces!

Now, I'll have to try and remember the first three minutes of MMT! I suppose I could just check my DVD! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif
I can enjoy MMT. But yeah, I think it falls into the category of "What was I (or Paul http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif) thinking"! But still, I think it fits right in with some of the 'wackiness' of the psychedelic sixties. Maybe the Beatles were just tired of trying to come up with a hit http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yes , about a year and a half ago in an HMV shop I found a 4 DVD set with MMT, Help, The 1st US Visit and The Making of AHDN. I couldn't believe my find so I had to get it. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif
And yeah, that pause button is great! Especially in Help when George's shirt blows off! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
In fact I just watched MMT again today and yeah it's pretty bad. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif I think George said it well in Anthology when he said that "it had good songs and a few funny scenes". That's what makes it worth to see. And they look like they were having fun. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

K... I **adore** MMT and I just watched it again tonight... favorites in the film for me are:
Paul's "take it away Ringo" point just before Ringo starts in on the drums for "I Am The Walrus." *hillarious*
Ringo to Aunt Jessie: "And all you've done is eye all the fellas since we got on!"
The Four Magician's Segment and Ringo asking
"WHEREISTHEBUF?"
AND John, the little boy and the balloon. Priceless.
