The added scenes did seem a little out of phase to me. Some minute details of the Beatles, themselves, were quite different. But all-in-all, Yellow Submarine is a good movie and I'm glad that I own both the original release video and the remastered one.

I didn't like the animation for the lost YS scene(where the Beatles meet Sgt. Pepper's band).also some of Hey Bulldog was poorly drawn.The SPB John and George look too much like the Saturday Morning cartoon versions.

Why else did you think they cut it out of the original film?

I just bought the digitally remasted YS today and I am gonna watch it tonight sometime.

Actually,they did a good job considering that it only took 10 months to make,which for an animated feature is quick.
