I believe the photographer was Harry Benson, who
photographed them on their first US visit, when they
did the Sullivan shows and so forth. He had been assigned
to find Pattie and George in Barbados, and found them
on the beach at a time he hadn't been looking for them!
The Fabs had been on friendly enough terms with Benson,
that George and Pattie had dinner with him that evening.
Benson wasn't the usual paparrazzi that George disliked so
much--his main thing was "hard news" photography, not
celebrities necessarily.
