linda mccartney looks beautiful in pics from the 60's, 80's, and 90's, but in a lot of the 70's pics they are rather unflattering. why do 70's pics of her not look as good as the pics from other eras?

I think she looks quite good in that era but maybe it is the mullet that doesn't do it for you?

I think it was the hairstyle that she had in the 70's made her look not good in her pictures.

I personally think she looked great in the 70's. It's true she might not of looked perfect as the other eras but it could very well be her hairstyle maybe. I know she used to wear her hair in a very weird way sometimes . I know she had her kids to take care of too as well as being in a band and I know it's hard work especailly since her kids very still very young. But yeah she definatley matured throughout the years and it seemed to me that as each year went by--even as each decade went by she began to look more and more beautiful easpecailly during her final years.

Well, I think Linda is absolutely beautiful not matter the era.
But If anything makes her look frumpy, its most likey the mullet and the lack of a bra. :laugh5:

Some of the fashions in the 70's were a little doofy, too.
Most rock stars had a mullet back then, tho it wasn't called
that then, just a shaggy layered cut.

haha I have an almost mullet ..
I don't actually know what this is called,
but its really short and spikes a bit on top..
But I think Linda was always very very pretty in a way.
I think what I loved about her was that she always seemed like a naturally beautiful person, inside and out. I <3 Paul, and of course there's always the little jealous factor, but it makes ya feel good to see Paul and Linda together. They're both very good, happy people. I think that more than makes up for the mullets!

I agree, she was really ugly in the 70s, though every1, including myself, had strange hairstyles and awful clothes, Linda was so beautiful in her last year of life, I saw some pix taken by Mary, and Linda was terrific in those.

We've all gone through bad hair phases, it's just that Linda had to go through it with the world watching. I think she's awesome, so I honestly could care less about the mullet! Linda's my hero!!

All of Linda's songs can be found on "Wide Prarie" there are some beautiful ones "Loves Full Glory" and "Apploosa". Those are the beautiful ones.
But why aren't there more photo's of Linda being posted, this is the picture forum with picture threads.

Linda looks beautiful in those pictures.
I've read once that while Linda was beautiful, it never came across on photo's, but it sure did on those. Except maybe on the first one.
I am talking now about the last set of pictures you posted, she looked great on all the photo's you posted first, even with the mullet.

Many fans here think Linda was rather the "hag". :nono5: I never thought so. Not too many of the Beatle wives would be seen out amongst the paparazzi unless they were all made up. Linda had the courage to go out in public with Paul looking au natural. She proved that you don't need tons of make-up to be beautiful. She showed us beauty comes from within. Which, to me, made her luminous. That's why Paul loved her so much. She wasn't a Barbie type. Just a regular girl with minor imperfections, like many of us. I can never say enough about Lin. She's my favorite Beatle wife. :smile1:
