HC, the expressions conveyed in your drawing are both touching and beautiful. Butterflies are so rich in beauty and symbolism, they can effectively convey the most profound aspects of the human experience, especially in regards to birth, death, transformation, resurrection and rebirth. Their beautiful color pallets and patterns are some of natures finest art.

MJ's youthful exuberance has persisted through his transformation into his angelic form, aligning with the Medieval depiction of Fairies and Angels with butterfly wings. Is there anything like a Butterfly in the animal kingdom that so perfectly depicts the transformation and Resurrection of our lowly earthbound human form into its beautiful soulful essence, thru the purity and freedom of flight, fluttering and floating into the afterlife?

HC, your drawing depicts such happiness and joyful innocence. Thank you so much for sharing.

I left it today for Mike at Forest Lawn. There were so many people and many, many lovely gifts and flowers. My favorite gift left for MJ was a drawing/collage of all kinds of cupcakes. Above it, in kids writing, it said "I love you MJ" and the "J" was backwards. :) It was so precious. :)
