Anybody else heard this highly experimental album from George?
I had an original copy but never listened to it. However, after finding out that it's been released on CD I managed to pick up a copy for a couple of pounds.
It's George playing around on his brand new Moog synthesiser and it's *so* hypnotising. One of those albums you put in while you're lying down and let yourself get lost in the sounds. Very hypnotising!

One of those albums you buy just to be complete, but never listen to.

A friend and I went to buy Electronic Sound & Life With The Lions Vol. 2 when they first came out. We thought they were garbage and we were mad to have spent the money which was hard to come by with us being young. But, what I wouldn't give to have those vinyl copies now! I think we used them for frisbees and destroyed them.
However, I would like to give Electronic Sound a listen to now. Maybe I'll go get a copy, now that I'm much older I have the money to splurg!

I have to say i only listened to my copy once or twice however my partner loves it and thinks its way ahead of its time, then again he is into all that strange electronic music anyway.

I HAD a copy of ''Electronic Sounds''...
Now, I like quite a bit of ''usual'' music... but, first as a joke, and then out of habit, I tend to call it ''Electronic noise'', instead of ''Electronic sounds'' LOL

Yes, I bought it years ago to complete my collection, listened to it once and then sort of forgot it. Now I can't even remember what were the two tracks like. By the way, did we ever do a survivor game on this one? I mean there woudn't be too many votes, would there?
I think maybe I'll put it in my record player one of these days. Then, should I press 'play' too? :laugh5:

I have a copy of Electronic Sounds on vinyl. I listened to it when I bought and I remember finding it quite amusing, but I must admit I haven't listened to it since. My record player isn't even set up anymore so I couldn't listen to it now if I wanted to. But it's nice to have.

L'Angelo, I think "Press to Play" was Paul McCartney! :joker: :laugh4:
Just kidding, L'Angelo. Seriously, I have to chime in with Harb on this collection. It IS hypnotizing in a sense - you can be lulled by this as background. Not my favorite Harrison collection, but still it has its place in Hari-Beatle history.

I don't "get" this album. At all. I think it's a sign of the times, though. Whatever. I tend to skip this part of George's carrer.

Nah, you just have to have all the Harrison originals. Weird in a way... :cross2:
