Beatles' Photo Thread

[I am the Paulrus]

Post any photo of the Beatles here. Even if it has two of them in it. I'll start with this pic I just found. The only time I have I seen this photo was when it was used in the documentary film, "The Compleat Beatles". From the looks of it, it looks like it might have been taken on or around the time of the their Sgt. Pepper Launch party in June,1967. Can anyone shed some light on this pic?

I'd imagine it is, I just googled 'Beatles 1969'. But They are wearing the same clothes, and it's the same weather.

BTW, Paul is wearing sandals and no socks! Paul must be dead!

Yes, according to Linda the name of the photo was "The Four Strangers" because you can see in their faces how fed up and tired they all are. It's a rather sad picture in my opinion... Depicts the breakup of the greatest band in history... :(

hmmm I think it is sad simply because we know the history...and what happens after the photo is taken...
if I look at the photo itself...yes they all appear tired...but they are close..still all sitting on the same steps...kind of in thier own world...but still one...i see some perhaps scared faces, apprehensive...but together...and I see....a sense of peace within themsleves.

Maybe it is because I know the history....depsite the long hair on John & George, which I dont really like, I like this pic

I was wondering the same thing. :laugh5: Looks like antique gas masks.
They're smog masks...Parts of England used to have terrible bouts of smog from coal-burning furnaces, so people had to walk around with smog masks. I've seen other pictures of the Fabs wearing those masks before, too...

I printed all mine in black and white with a large off-white matte around each,
then framed in black colonial-style frames, two rows of three on one wall. The wall
is a pale whitewashed blue and the framed prints really pop! :bigeyes2:
