View Full Version : Message For Paul McCartney
Jerry
Jun 16, 2000, 06:13 AM
I'm starting this topic so that everybody can send their personal messages to Paul McCartney. As you all probably know, two pretty big events are falling on the same day this Sunday. So please wish him a Happy Birthday & a Happy Father's Day! When we get enough posts here, I'll send the entire thread along to his official website.

Hi Paul.
Have a very happy birthday with many happy returns, and, even though I'm not your son, I would like to wish you a happy fathers day as well. Let me also say a warmhearted thank you for outstanding contributions to popular music for the last 40 years. Don't give up. But if you do, can I have your bass guitar?

Paul,
Were you ever jealous that Ringo got the top job narrating Thomas the Tank Engine while you were stuck writing songs for Rupert the Bear?

Well, I was thinking of waiting for a few more posts, but I should probably send it before it's way too late.

Dear Paul,
You've rocked my world since I was but a pup;
It does my heart good to see you haven't given up,
Through all the tears you've let the sun in again;
Your fans can look to the future instead of just "remembering when..."
So Happy Birthday luv',I'm not much of a poet...
But by now I think you already know it!
Live long and happy and let love's warmth surround you in never-ending peace... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gifhttp://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gifhttp://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif
