Is it really healthy to love the Beatles more than your own family? Never truly thought about that til someone actually said it!

I'd be quite prepared for that eventuality

Just read the message. It's not healthy. But it's amazing. Let the boy love the best music ever made!

And welcome to Beatlelinks.net. Hope you enjoy here as much as I do (I registered just a week ago).

It's wonderful to be here, it's certainly a thrill...bet I'm not the first one to use that line, eh?

Welcome, Chuckie...I'm new to this forum myself, so let me introduce myself to all of you. I'm a lifetime fan of the Fabs...have been since before I can remember (have to thank my big sis for that)...I was but a wee lass of 4 when they broke up, but I do have vivid memories of lying on my sister's bedroom floor, listening to "Abbey Road" and just studying the album cover. (She tells me John was my favorite even way back then. )

I want to take this opportunity to say how much these four men have meant to me in my 34 years on this planet. It may sound melodramatic, but they've helped me through some of the worst periods of my life. They've made me smile, kept me sane, and provided comfort during my darkest hours. They're helping me keep it together now as I'm dealing with a terminally ill parent. They may have been "just a band who made it very, very big," but they've meant the world to me. Thanks, lads.

Well, I don't want to hog too much bandwidth on my first post; suffice it to say that I'm looking forward to sharing the love with all of you wonderful Beatle People.

Peace!

~ Dream

Thanks, Bearkat, for the thoughts and prayers, and thanks everyone else for the warm welcome! I know I sort of cross-posted here and in the meeting places folder...I hope that's ok. I'll try not to make a habit of it. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/blush.gif

"Should you be regulated immediately or will send-vou the note to me?"

And why, pray tell, would we want to "regulate" Penny, hmmmm??

I dunno why? You said it, not me. The correct translation is actually "Do I pay you now or will you send me your bill?"
