I'm a huge Beatles fan and have heard all the albums but never the less there are some songs of the Beatles I just can't get into my head or remember how they go, not that I don't like them, it's just that I don't hear them and there not the most famous of the Beatles catalog. If I look at the sheet music, it still doesn't help me. The following songs are some of the ones I forgot how they "go" or can't remeber the melody:
not a second time
little child
devil in her heart
hold me tight
Does any one else have similar experiences? If so what song(s)?

Apart from that I can remember pretty much all of the Beatles songs (although not all of them word for word!) Not so good with their solo songs though.

I don't recall ever having a problem forgetting the words. I've played them so much, they are emblazen into my mind. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/burnt.gif

Biglou114, how can one forget "Can't Buy Me Love" it's a really famous one of theirs and the song starts with the title words. I'm not scolding you, I just find that one baffling and interesting somebody should choose that one. The songs I've selected, I don't think I ever heard on the radio and the Beatles themselves don't really single any of them out as "important songs". Not a second time was mentioned by a critic as having the famous "aolean(sic) cadences". But I have know idea how the melody goes.

not songs by the Beatles, but I always get John's "Oh Yoko" and "Dear Yoko" confused; can never remember which is which, and right now can remember how only one goes

"When I Get Home" and "You Can Do That"... they get me confused everytime. I know they're different, but sometimes I can't remember which is which, and then I come to think "oh, 'You Can't Do That' is the one where John plays lead" and I remember. But that's the only one I can think about.

To paraphrase Mr. Sherlock holmes, when you remember Something New you only have so much space in your memory that you forget something old.
