Probably real.
Here's how to tell a fake.

A REAL copy will have the following:
1. High-resolution pictures
2. The white borders around the pictures will be 1/32".
3. In the run off area will be stamped "BELL SOUND".

A FAKE copy will have the following:
1. Low-resolution pictures.
2. The white borders around the pictures will be 1/16".
3. "BELL SOUND" will not be in the run off area.

I never even knew they faked the red apple LIB albums...mine's real. (Did you know the run off area also says "Phil & Ronnie?" I thought that was kinda cool.)

I have a green one too, a British pressing, the one that came in the box set with the book, and I have all the original packaging including the insert where the book fits, and the book is in PERFECT (unopened, unbroken) condition...I was told that was worth quite a bit to a collector, particularly since the books were bound so badly with such poor glue that most copies you find have pages flaking out of them...in fact, mine is the only intact copy I've ever seen -- and I don't let ANYONE open it!!!

I had to run and check mine - it's real! Never noticed the "Phil & Ronnie" before. Thanks for that bit of info, Nipper!

Also look at the label itself. Fakes are sometimes slightly blurred and have no lamination on them. Authentic labels are sharp and have a glossy finish to them.
