Cynthia Lennon Interview on BBC Radio 2 from Sept. 25

Sunday 25 September 2005

Joining Michael Parkinson is Cynthia Lennon. As the first wife of singing legend, John Lennon, Cynthia is one of the closest surviving witnesses of events that have passed into music legend: the rise of the Beatles, the swinging sixties and the era of the flower power. Cynthia talks to Michael about her new book in which she presents a fascinating insight into the sixties as well as subsequent events before and after John Lennon's death.

"John" by Cynthia Lennon is published by Hodder & Stoughton ISBN: 034089558

Once you have skipped past the first guests and the very dodgy music its a good listen, she is alot more well spoken and posher than I thought and when she mentions Julian being 42 is suddenly strikes home how young John was was he was shot.

Thanks for the link, brilliant.
