Maybe "recorded" should be replaced by "released".

I think Bad To Me is a well crafted pop tune and one of John's finer melodies. There's a demo version of him and accoustic guitar I have from Napster. Wish they had recorded it themselves. Charlie, it coulda been a contender.

This might be a stupid question, but why isn't The White Album in the first list? I thought it sold well, and on a list someone posted it was the highest selling album of the 60's, albeit in the US. Does anyone have the UK stats?

"The White Album" is not in the first list, because it only spent 22 weeks in the UK album chart in 1968/69. This has something to do with it being a double-album, and thus its price being twice that of a standard album. But the main reason for the White Album`s short stay in the UK album chart is, that the chart was reduced to a Top 15 on Feb. 12, 1969 (it was a Top 40 previously). Thus a lot of albums that would have hung around the lower regions of the previous Top 40 were now excluded from charting, which is the main reason that the White Album is not featured in the first list. On June 22, 1969, the UK album chart was a Top 40 again, but that apparently was too late for "The White Album" to add any more weeks to its tally.
THe White Album is still one of the biggest selling double albums in history, with sales of 17 million by the late 1990s. Transferred into single albums, The White Album has sold 34 million (19m of them in the US).
