:laugh5: I know it!!! Ah... well... he's a "compassionate" conservative (oxymoron?), and so I'm sure that he *thinks* that (his "compassion") will get him through. Lol! Yea... just like he and the zillions of secret service he brought with him that filled our streets when he was out here to see the devastation that destroyed my neighborhood in "Firestorm 2003", and those secret service men who kept all of us unapproved, non-selected little people from receiving that "comfort" that he brought to our town, to help us all through our rough time, "helped" us out here... lol... I'm sure he's spreading that same love there! Yea... I can't wait to see how his handlers help him with this one. Oh, dang... how I wish we were rid of Shrub!!!

He thinks he may need a toilet break? What's he going to do, wait until a wet patch appears before deciding for definite?

Probably, Harb, and that's on a good day! Chick and Milk, I agree with you about W.

When George Harrison did "Think For Yourself," W. probably had no idea of what the Beatle was talking about!

My whole family calls him Shrub, Shrubya and most frequently, Dumbya. The County Democrats call him the Commander in Thief and the Puppet Figurehead. Chick, I will say that I agree with you and am no fan of Dumbya.

I think his puppeteers were off duty that day. The marionette man was taking a 5-week holiday when this was taken.

Oh boy the guy's a riot. In one hand all the world's afraid of his next decisions, but in the other one, does he make one laugh or what. :teeth1:

Then we have a trade-off I think: do you want an incompetent president who is funny in his stupidness or a good president who is actually not that funny in his behaviour?

It's quite important to think about it.

Ooh... that's a great video, Erik! Omg! How did he ever get to where he did in life... (well, yea, ok... daddy did it for him--$$$ and such--but why didn't anybody stop that?!) Checked out the rest of the site, too, and there are many gems on there! Love the Bushisms (funny as they are... they're also very frightening in a way...)! Love the shop (may have to order me some things from there! In the name of fighting evil-doers!) Love the photo gallery! The "mini me" photo in there has always been a fave of mine... Thanks so much for sharing that!

And, BB, I think you're 100% right on that one! Gosh... hadn't they realized by that point that he shouldn't be allowed (for his sake) out and about to deal with other people without at least one handler...? What were they thinking all going on vacation at once, and letting him venture out on his own?

So sad that someone like him has so much power...

Umm... I think... that I'd rather have the unfunny guy... seeing how much harm an incompetent one can cause...

But, I do know what ya mean about how nice it can be to have one that you can laugh at... still, I'd take Dan Quayle over this guy any day!

Hah, I think he waited for a wet patch to show up in New Orleans before he decided to do anything there.

Right on, BG!!!! *sigh* Ah... why didn't the wanna-be cowboy do something about that ahead of time...? And if he's so compassionate, why isn't he doing more to help out right now...

Great to see your input on the thread here! Look forward to (hopefully) reading more from ya here!

Exactly, Chick...Dumbya's incompetence isn't funny. His verbal ineptitude and malapropisms are. Still, I'd take an intelligent president who didn't lend himself readily to political humor over the Puppet Figurehead aka the Commander in Thief any day!

Quayle may not have been the brightest bulb in the lamp, but I'd take him over Dumbya, no contests. Quayle was also good joke fodder, but the Commander in Thief has proved to be costly to many. He's more of a daddy's boy IMHO than Quayle ever was.

You got it, chica! I agree with you completely on everything you said! Yes... DQ did give us plenty of good stuff to laugh about, and fortunately, he did so without causing great harm (but, then again, we did have Gulf War 1 going at the time, didn't we? But that was more GW 1's doing, I believe, than DQ's.) Dubya's stupidity has cost us WAY too many lives, tons of money, far too many of our personal freedoms... it's cost us far too much, in too many ways. Yes... his incompetence (as a leader) is scarier than anything, imho. The man should have never been given the ability to have so much power. He and his minders are a dangerous lot, and it's frightening how they are single handedly destroying this country. It gets more and more like Orwell's "1984" every day, living in this country (or, "cunchy" as the "president" pronounces it.)

Yes... he, and all he is capable of doing (that which his minders tell him) is very frightening...

Give me DQ any day! (or, somebody even better than that, perferably...)

Let me just say that I am far from a Bush supporter, but I don't think it's necessary to devote a whole thread to bashing him (particularly with urban legends...come on, you don't have to make up stuff). I'm not speaking as a moderator, just as a member, but unless you have actual real information and real solutions, the mocking just seems hipster and not particularly relevant....
