Imagine, for one night, you could have a personal Beatles concert, with all of the guys. It can last only for one hour (because other people want their turn!), so you must choose your songs well. Good luck!

ps. a max. of two solo songs allowed

Here goes mine:

1. Let it Be
2. I Saw her Standing There
3. She Loves You
4. Abbey Road medley
5. A Day in the Life
6. Revolution
7. My Sweet Lord (Harrison)
8. Nowhere Man
9. Help!
10.Get Back
11.She's a Woman
12.Helter Skelter
13. Maybe I'm Amazed (McCartney)
14. Strawberry Fields Forever
and for the finale....
15. Hey Jude

that was about 59 min. give or take a few

now your turn

------------------
And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make

You know it's gonna be...alright

Well, all you "Beatlelinkers" wish me luck, because this coming weekend I will get the chance to have a little Beatles concert as described on this post. I play guitar and write/record music as my hobbie. (It's a hobbie because I like eating!!HA!HA!) A very talented "Local Band" heard that I was into Beatles music, and asked if I would do a couple of songs "LIVE" with them at there next gig!!......WHY NOT!!!!
The songs that I picked were "I saw her standing there",and "Hard Days Night". I will get to play rythum guitar and back-up vocals. This should be a real Beatle-Blast!!! it won't be an hours worth of music, but,it will be great fun. I'll let everyone know how it go's!!!

Hope your Beatles concert goes well, McCharlenstar! Let us know how it goes.

(I'll have to come back to this topic later to pick my concert songs; too hard to decide!)

That is great.

I play guitar too and did a few gigs like that. Absulute fun.

Let us know how it was.

And in respect of this topic, we had a sortlike topic earlier this year where even we could include the intro's, like who would do what, solo songs, Beatles songs, who would introduce who etc.

Will look it up and bring it back again as well, cause there are many new members and they may want to read that topic too.

UPDATE!!!

THE SHOW WENT GREAT!!!!

My ears are still ringing!!But,it was too COOL!!!!Plenty of Beatles music to tickle the crowd of about 500. The gig went from 8pm until midnight, and we hit them with "Hard day's Night"and "I saw her standing there". They loved it!!Everyone was dancing by the time we started the 2nd song!!Something about Beatles Music,HUH??
Wish all you "BEATLELINKERS" could have been there,I would have bought you all a 'round of drink!!!

GREAT! our 1st base player!

You might have to trade that Fender in for a "Hofner" violin base(for the look you know)
but,in the meantime we can practice just the same!!!!

Oh, I'd love to trade in this ol' Fender for a Hofner, or even a Rickenbacker!!! But I'm too broke to afford either one of them. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/cry4.gif Guess I'll stick with the ol' Fender for the time being.
