What are your favorite Beatle covers (Beatles songs done by other artists--NOT songs the Beatles covered)?
3.) "I'm So Tired"--The Plums
2.) "Come Together"--Aerosmith
1.) "Got To Get You Into My Life"--Earth, Wind & Fire
That's my top 3.

There is only one reference here to the album of George Martin, In My Life.
That has covers arranged by Martin and I wonderwho the musicians are, unless the basic of the tapes is the original, because it comes so close to original, but not too close.
It has
Come together - Robin Williams/Bobby McFerrin
Hard day's night - Celine Dion
Day in the life - Jeff Beck
Because - Vaness Mae
I am the walrus - Jim Carrey
Here comes the sun - John Williams
Mr Kite - Billy Connolly (film Water)
Golden Slumbers/Carry that weight/The end - Phil Collins
In my life - Sean Connery
Most of them I find fantastic.
Phil Collins, not at all close to a favorite of mine, very very good.
Mr. Kite, you should really hear that !!!
In my life - amazingly good combination of voice and music
I am the walrus - sooooo good
Come together - very very good
I can really advise this one.

I've heard that one, and I tend to disagree... I didn't like what they did to "Mr. Kite" (almost as a spoken track), and the version of "Ticket To Ride" done by some boy band was quite awful. I did like what they did to "A Hard Day's Night", but pretty much nothing else. Sorry FPSHOT.
