Yoko Ono Gets Set To Release First Album in Five Years

NME News--YOKO ONO is set to release her first studio album in five years, "BLUEPRINT FOR A SUNRISE", on October 1 through PARLOPHONE.

The album was borne of three tracks, which Ono recorded for inclusion in the book/DVD accompanying her retrospective art exhibition, currently touring the world. It is the first album from rock's most famous widow since 'Rising' in 1996 - an album that spawned a remix album, called "Rising Mixes", featuring longtime Ono admirers like the Beastie Boys, Tricky and Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore.

I got this info from one of the three sites that send out music updates. Whether the titles of the tracks are correct or not, you have to remember that this is Yoko we're talking about.

Marissa, I'm serious. I do own some Yoko albums. The three I have are Season Of Glass, It's Alright (I See Rainbows) and Starpeace.

BTW, that was what I have on vinyl. I also has one CD, Walking On Thin Ice. This was a compilation album released in 1992.
