I'm very curious . . . Does anyone has any idea if John ever suffered from any form of speech impediment throughout his life? I doubt it very much, but am just really wondering. During his childhood, it was typical for John to make fun of another kid for some type of disability, so it seems that stuttering or other communication problems would fall into that category.

I've noticed in some songs John would occasionally miss the L sound after an S. For example: "I should be s'eeping like a dog," or "s'ippin' and a slidin'..." It's just a little thing and a highly doubt he ever suffered from any speech impediment (and certainly not as an adult) as I think it would have been heard during one of the hundreds of hours of interviews he gave.

Personally, those little missed "L" sounds always make me smile.

Me too :teeth1: LovinLennon I like that quote in your signature. Do you know when John said this?

In "Misery," I always love when he and Paul say "Shend her back to me..." but I think it's just an accent rather than an impediment.
