“The Beatles in Portland: The Complete Story”

Hi everyone. A local filmmaker has made a documentary on the Beatles August 22, 1965 concert in Portland, Oregon. It was a pretty significant concert as their plane almost crashed and The Beach Boys and Allen Ginsberg were there. I helped a little bit on it and thought I’d post the info about it. I haven’t seen it yet, but here is some of the info from the flyer. When my copy shows up, I’ll review it.

- Interviews with over 30 concert-goers
- Scenes from the airport arrival
- Interview with the Beatles limo driver
- Beatles press conference
- Interviews with members of the opening acts
- Discussion of the Beatles/Beach Boys meeting
- Over 100 photos
- Original performance contract
- Allen Ginsberg’s poem about the concert
- Concert memorabilia

The 2 DVD set is $22.95 + $2 p&h ($5 for orders of 2 or more).

No offense but, I always have a little trouble with someone who asks people to send money to an individual for an alleged DVD that may or may not exist. Less of a problem have I if the entity is a known company like Amazon or Border's Books or cdbaby.com etc.

Too many opportunities to get ripped off if you are unsuspecting on the internet.

Is you look at the advertizing banners at the top of the forums, you can see that this DVD is advertised. People don't usually pay to advertise non existant products, puls I've seen reviews for this dvd.
