hey everyone! i'm not really sure if anyone else that posts here participates in the blogathon (http://blogathon.org) that happens every year (this year on august 6), but i thought if anyone did, we could post about our campaigns.
what blogathon is are people writing in their weblogs for 24 hours in order to raise money for charity. they invite their friends and family to sponsor them and donate pledges based on how long they blog, or as a flat rate. i have never done this before, but in past years, i know it's been a HUGE success.
this year, i am blogging for vh1's save the music foundation (http://vh1savethemusic.com). the url of my blog is http://blogathon.flaming-pie.net, if you want to check that out as it gets closer to the date. if you're interested in sponsoring me, my campaign page is http://www.blogathon.org/blogathon.php?campaign&id=219.
